Introduction to Tajweed Principles – In the first year of the Intermediate level, students will develop a foundational understanding of Tajweed principles. This year focuses on core rules, enabling students to enhance their recitation through proper pronunciation and application of basic Tajweed rules.

Students will be introduced to the articulation points of letters and other key rules to improve fluency and precision in Qur’aan recitation. Emphasis will be placed on identifying and implementing the rules of the saakin letters, nasalization rankings, and lengthening (mad). Mastery of these elements is essential for a smooth recitation in line with Tajweed standards.
