Skip to content This course is for proficient reciters of the Qur’aan who have already grasped all of the rules of Hafs ‘an Aasim. Students will learn the meaning of the verses in the classical text Hirz Al Amaani (aka Al Shaatibiyyah) while taking a closer look at the rules relevant to each recitation.
This course is intended for proficient Qur’aan reciters who have a solid grasp of the rules of Hafs ‘an Aasim. Students will study the classical text Hirz Al Amaani (also known as Al Shaatibiyyah), focusing on the meanings of its verses and the recitation rules that apply to each. The course covers understanding the poem’s codes and the rules for the seven recognized recitations: Naafi’, Ibn Katheer, Abu ‘Amr, Ibn ‘Aamir, ‘Aasim, al-Kisaa’i, and Hamzah. Each section spans 2 months, with a maximum class size of 30 students.
