Skip to content Phase 1 introduces students to the foundational skills of Qur’aanic reading, focusing on letter recognition, diacritical marks, and basic word formations.
In this phase, students learn to identify the 28 Arabic letters in their various forms (beginning, middle, and end). They also practice reading words that contain the three major diacritical marks, long vowels, Sukoon, Shaddah, and Laam At-Ta’reef. This phase is designed to provide a strong foundation in basic Arabic reading, enabling students to read words with increasing complexity.
